SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES & WORTHY CAUSES, AMAZING PEOPLE & PRAYERS
An Update from Debbie and Ken Saunders
Here is part of a recent email from Debbie updating everyone on her circumstances. "Dear family & friends, Just wanted to update you all regarding a step-change in our lives. My oncology treatment has stopped as it was not producing positive results and I have been transferred to palliative care which is basically managing pain/symptoms. My palliative care includes bi-weekly saline infusions and once these prove not to be of help then I will move to hospice care, which while still managing the pain/symptoms, does not include any intervention like infusions...We’re hoping that once we can get the “balancing act” down, we might be able to get out and about a bit more than we have in the past few weeks…Do hope all is well with you and your families and that you are enjoying a great summer. With love, Debbie (& Ken)”
