CONGREGATIONAL UPDATES
Children’s Day on Sunday
We celebrated Children’s Day on Sunday, June 7th. It was started by the Rev. Dr. Charles Leonard back in 1857 to celebrate and honor children.
Here is a picture of Carol and the Sunday School after worship.
Father’s Day
We will celebrate Father’s Day, next Sunday, June 21st. A special invitation is extended to all our fathers to join us for worship as well as at fellowship. During fellowship there will be a special cake honoring our fathers. '
Faith in Action
Deacon Sharon Hodgetts and Pastor Richard invite you to assist ONOMO, the ministry to the down and out in nearby Paterson. We're making sandwiches for their Saturday morning visitation. We'll be meeting in the Community Hall on Friday, June 26th. Time is TBD. More details are to follow. In the meanwhile, mark your calendars and let Sharon know you'll be able to assist. Thank you.
Graduates
Do You Know a Graduate? If so, let Pastor Richard know and we will celebrate their accomplishment during worship on Sunday, June 21st.
Scholarship
If you know of any high school or college graduate, in the congregation, going on to further education, they are more than welcome to contact the church office to apply for a scholarship.
On-Line Hymnals
Do you worship with us on-line? If you do and you want to join the congregation in singing along with the hymns, we will provide you with a hymnal. Call the office (201-445-6310) and speak with Janet and we'll get one on the way to you.
